The Springfield Muni Band will be returning this summer for free concerts at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.

They will play outside the entrance to the museum from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on the following Saturdays: June 7 and 28; July 12, 19, and 26; and August 2.

The Springfield Municipal Band was founded by referendum in 1936. The band is overseen by the Municipal Band Commission and the Mayor of Springfield, Illinois.
