When you visit the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum this summer, you'll encounter Mr. & Mrs. Lincoln and an entire cast of characters as History Comes Alive returns for its 16th Season!

The ALPLM is proud to be a community partner for this city-wide summer celebration of our Lincoln Legacy, Illinois history, and Kicks on Route 66 that happens Friday, June 6 through Saturday, August 9.

WEDNESDAYS
1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Meet & Greet: Ulysses S. Grant in the museum plaza
1:15 p.m. Lincoln Troubadours (Vocal Acapella Group) perform in the museum plaza
3:30 p.m. Dynamic Duos: Lincoln & Grant - special performance in the presidential library


THURSDAYS
10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Meet & Greet: Mr. & Mrs. Lincoln in the museum plaza
1:15 p.m. Lincoln Troubadours (Vocal Acapella Group) perform in the museum plaza
2:30 p.m. Meet & Greet: Lincoln & his Body Guard, Ward Hill Lamon in the museum plaza
3:30 p.m.-4:15 p.m. Dynamic Duos: Lincoln & Lamon - special performance in the presidential library

FRIDAYS
1:15 p.m. Lincoln Troubadours (Vocal Acapella Group) perform in the museum plaza
2:30 p.m. Meet & Greet: Abraham Lincoln & Law Partner, William Herndon in the museum plaza
3:30 p.m. Dynamic Duos Program: Lincoln & Herndon - special performance in the presidential library (no performance on July 4)


SATURDAYS
1:15 p.m. Lincoln Troubadours (Vocal Acapella Group) perform in the museum plaza

Getting around to all of the historic sites will be easy!  Springfield’s FREE Summer Trolley, with service starting Friday, June 6! The trolley will operate Wednesdays - Saturdays from 10:00 a.m.4:00 p.m.
