Distance Learning: LIHO_information@nps.gov Ranger-Led Virtual Tours & Junior Ranger Program: LIHO_information@nps.gov Lincoln Home offers several opportunities for distance learning including curriculum-focused programs and "Chats with a Ranger" with virutal tours and live discussion. Students can also go on a ranger-led virtual tour of Lincoln's Home. Lesson plans and other educational resources are available. Several pre-recorded tours and other videos are available on Lincoln Home's YouTube channel. The Home's Junior Ranger program is another option for children between the ages of 5 and 12.

Lesson plans include "The Lincoln Presidency", "Lincoln's Cabinet", "The First Family", "Civil War Tech", "ALPM Oral Histories", "Practicing Historical Thinking Skills", and "World War II Experience". There are also several teaching guides with topics including the "Gettysburg Address", "African American History in Illinois", "Lincoln's Farewell Address" and "Weapons and Medicine of the Civil War". The Lincolns were frequent guests in the home. Virtual tours are available online. Zoom guided tours are also available with advance scheduling. Live stream tours are available with interpreter talks where they provide a Q & A and show-and-tell type of experience as well as a walk through the village.
