A copy of the Emancipation Proclamation signed by Abraham Lincoln himself will go on display at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.

Signed by President Lincoln, Secretary of State William Seward, and Lincoln’s aide John Nicolay, this edition was created in 1864 to raise funds for wounded Civil War soldiers. Fewer than 30 of these signed copies still exist today.

The library is open weekdays 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
