VIRTUAL FIELD TRIP
Join the Illinois State Museum’s Research and Collections Center for an exclusive new look at an exciting new donation of items from the Hickox-Edwards family of Springfield.
Mary Lincoln’s sister Elizabeth Edwards and her husband Ninian were Abraham Lincoln’s in-laws; their children were his nieces and nephews. This small collection of family items, passed down through five generations, offers a never-before-seen window into Lincoln’s extended family’s life in Springfield.
Come check out these significant items on Wednesday, April 23rd at 5:30 pm. This program is open to learners of all ages and is free to attend.
