Break out the hairspray and your best 80s or 90s attire, and join us for Gen-X Prom!

No matter how long it’s been, we invite you to a reinvented version of this high school rite of passage as a benefit for the Growing Up X exhibition at the Illinois State Museum. So join us and live out your prom dreams, including all the traditions: great music, punch and cookies, keepsake photos, and prizes for best 80s and 90s attire!

Tickets are $40 for Museum Members and $50 for non-members and include the bomb diggity food, non-alcoholic drinks, and sick tunes spun by local DJs

Gen-X Prom will take place on Friday, March 10, 2023, from 7:00 to 11:00 PM at the Illinois State Museum, 502 South Spring Street, Springfield, Illinois, 62706.
