March 12 in Downtown Springfield
Springfield goes green for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. Join the hundreds of entries and millions of smiles that will fill the streets of historic downtown. 

April 4 starting in Downtown Springfield
Immerse yourself in Abraham Lincoln history and enjoy a scenic run past the Lincoln Home, the Lincoln-Herndon Law Office and Lincoln Tomb in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The USATF certified course starts and ends at the historic Old State Capitol. The Lincoln sites and Springfield’s hospitality make this a destination race for the whole family.

May 8 – 9 in Downtown Springfield
The race route for this one-of-a-kind charity event includes beer, ice cream, donuts and corn dog stations as well as live entertainment and surprises throughout. You can run the entire course, or take the 1/10 mile detour straight to the Celtic Mist Pub. The Street Party on Friday night includes a pig roast and live music.


May 16 – 17 on the Old State Capitol Plaza
Set against the backdrop of the Old State Capitol, art lovers find this event to be the jewel of the Midwest. The juried fair is dedicated to top quality and media variety, keeping the more than 30,000 eager buyers coming back each year.


May 17 on Capitol Ave in Downtown Springfield
Family friendly street festival celebrating the LGBTQ community and equality in our community. The event features a kid's area, teen area, over 50 vendors, live music, food and drinks. It's the gayest day of the year in Central Illinois!
