ABOUT

This magnificent bell tower in Washington Park holds one of the few Carillons in the world open to the public. It currently ranks within the as the eight-largest in the world. The Thomas Rees Memorial Carillon consists of sixty-seven cast bronze bells that ring out from the 132 foot brutalist style tower.  A carillon is a musical instrument consisting of bells played by a carillonneur. 

Tours are available Memorial Day - Labor Day, Wednesday - Sunday, 5:00pm-7:00pm, when concerts are not being performed.  All tours on first come first serve basis. Six adults are allowed per tour.
