The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum offers the Museum Plaza, the center rotunda of the Museum, for evening events such as convention receptions, corporate anniversary and holiday parties, awards banquets, wedding receptions and more. The Plaza accommodates up to 300 guests for dinner or 500 guests for a reception.

The Museum’s exhibits and theater presentations may be added to an evening at the Museum for additional costs. Exhibits include the Journeys and Treasures Gallery – the permanent exhibit areas, and the Illinois Gallery housing special exhibits. Our two spectacular special effects theaters are available to enhance your Museum event experience. Lincoln’s Eyes is a multi-screen and stage special effects show giving an overview of Lincoln’s extraordinary life, and Ghosts of the Library is a state-of-the-art holographic program bringing visitors behind the scenes of a great presidential library

We offer Museum Event Enhancements like Beyond the Performance at Ghosts of the Library, a discussion with the actor and show manager following a scheduled showing of this amazing theater presentation; actor features including From My Front Porch, At Ford’s Theatre, and In the Cabinet Room, and the Museum Store being open for your event. General additional features like parking, staffed coat check, and audio-visual equipment and services.
The Exelon Union Theater is an ideal venue accommodating 250 guests for awards presentations, lectures, and business events.
