Established in 1932, this locally owned market is one of a kind!  John Jones is a 4th generation business owner in Ashland, a 3rd generation market owner, 2nd generation meat cutter, and a 1st generation Brat/BBQ Rib Specialist. John and wife Beth are also the parents of 6 children and 6 grandchildren whom all live in either Cass/Sangamon Counties. The store has been featured in The State Journal Register, Illinois Times, and most recently  a 30 min. special on PBS w/ Mark McDonald, which highlighted his process for making his many varieties of  bratwurst and his most popular, Apple Brat.
