It’s 1971, and a local plastic bag factory, Big Bags Corporation, wants to expand to meet the growing needs of a consumerist public. The problem is – they want to rezone a wooded area so they can cut down the trees, removing a grove of beloved black walnut trees. The city is holding a public meeting at Edwards Place to discuss the possible rezoning of the area, and protesters from non-profit EverGreen plan to clash with officials and police alike to save the black walnuts. In the midst of the commotion, it is discovered that the regional president of EverGreen, Richard Brownfield, has been coldly murdered during the meeting! Guests will need to put their detective skills to the test to discover which of six suspects is the murderer in this un-eco-friendly death.

This murder mystery dinner theatre, directed by Amber Johnson, includes an original script performed by local actors and a full, seated dinner. It is a fundraiser for Edwards Place Historic Home. This event is 21+ only. Caterer TBA.

Tickets go on sale September 8 at 9AM - SAA members can purchase their tickets on September 6 at 9AM.
