It's that time of year where we set out on adventures in search of that perfect pumpkin to carve, we get scared walking through haunted houses and enjoy all that fall brings, you know, like hot apple cider, YUM. 

Since fall, and the cool weather that comes with it, is just about here...we put a handy list together to help you find just what you're looking for during our 2024 fall adventure! 


Pumpkin Patches, Corn Mazes & Orchards

They offer over 50 different varieties of pumpkin/gourds of every shape and size. You can pick your selection of pumpkins from our pre-picked selection, or take some clippers, provided by the farm, and cut them right off the vine! They offer children’s area, corn & bean mazes & petting zoo. Every Friday night through October they will be doing an outdoor showing a movie on the lawn at part of their Friday Nights at the Farm event. (Fido Friendly)
Opening September 20th through October 26th. Fridays 6pm - 9:30pm; Saturdays & Sundays 10am - 5pm. Also open Monday October 14th 10am - 5pm.

They have pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, a corn maze and hayrides. They provide wagons and clippers for you to go into the patch and pick your own pumpkins. It's fun for all ages! (Fido Friendly)
Opening September 14th through October 27th. Fridays: 2pm - 6pm, Saturdays: 10am - 6pm, Sundays: 11am - 6pm

Indian Knoll Pumpkins  (Mechanicsburg)
This patch has over 55 varieties of pumpkins, gourds and squash. They offer free indoor activities, wagon rides through the patch, outdoor barnyard obstacles and a game area. (Fido Friendly)
Open September 21st-October 20th. Fridays & Saturdays: 10am - 5pm, Sunday: Noon - 5pm.  Also open Monday October 14th 10am - 5pm.

Apple Barn (Chatham)
Offering apples, apple cider, pumpkins, baked goods, décor and more. (Fido Friendly)
Daily: 7am - 6pm

Offers in season veggies, apples, fall decorations, including mums and tons more.
Monday - Saturday: 9am - 6pm and Sunday: 10am - 5pm

They offer hayrides, barrel train rides, kid corn maze, u-pick pumpkins and more.
Opening September 7th through October 27th. Monday - Thursday: 10am - 5pm, Friday & Saturday: 10am - 6pm, Sunday: Noon - 6pm.   Also open Monday October 14th full hours.

This patch features 70 varieties of pumpkins, farm animals, a corn maze and hayrides.
Opening September 15th through October 27th: Saturdays & Sundays: 11am - 4pm 


Hayrides, Haunted Trails & Houses

Take a bumpy, fast-paced and fun ride through the woods. Watch out for trolls and headless horseman!
Opening October 4th through November 2nd. Every Friday & Saturday: 7pm - 11pm

This is no amateur operation – we’re serious about scary! Our creepy crew works on our haunted haven all year; putting their sinister minds to work as they create a high tech, theatrical environment that evokes blood-curdling screams and spine-tingling terror.
Opening October 4th through November 2nd. Fridays & Saturdays: 6:30pm - 10pm 

Scaring the daylights out of visitors since 1993.  Terror on the Square dreams up of new ways to terrify their victims... I mean guests each year. Not for the faint of heart.
Opening October 4th through November 1st.  Fridays, Saturdays, & Halloween: 7pm - Midnight

Take a terrifying walk through the creepy, dark woods filled with gruesome scenes and horrifying monsters.
Open Fridays & Saturdays through November 2nd: 7pm - 11pm


Haunted Walks

This 90-minute, 5 block lantern lit walking tour uses the Lincoln sites as the backdrop for strange & bizarre stories surrounding Lincoln’s life and his death. Lincoln’s bizarre dreams of death, Spiritualism, Mary’s seances in the White House, and skullduggery at the Tomb. This is a factual history tour that includes some of the ghostly lore surrounding the Lincolns. (Fido Friendly)
