Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum
More than 40,000 square feet of galleries, theatres, and historic displays that combine scholarship with
showmanship - culminating in the world’s best collection of Lincoln lore and legend.
Lincoln's New Salem
Go back nearly two centuries in time as you walk the streets of reconstructed New Salem, the village where Abraham Lincoln
lived as a young man. See where he split rails, clerked in a store and served as postmaster, among other positions
the influenced him to eventually become the Great Emancipator.
The Lincoln Home has been completely restored to its 1860 appearance and reveals much about Lincoln as a husband, father,
neighbor and politician. Tours of this national treasure are conducted by National Park Service Rangers.
Old State Capitol
Within these walls a great man rose to prominence to become the 16th President of the United States. It was here Lincoln spoke the
immortal words “A house divided against itself cannot stand…” as the threat if a Civil War loomed.
Within this breathtaking monument lie the remains of Abraham Lincoln, his wife Mary, and three of their four sons. At the entrance of the Tomb is a bronze
bust of Mr. Lincoln where visitors from around the world have stopped to rub the nose for good luck.
